Water Distribution System Improvements

Water Department Project: 08-W2

Project Schedule Update: November 17, 2008

 

Please find presented below a summary of the project schedule of activities for the Water Distribution System Improvement project associated with the Highlands area.  Installation of the new water mains and services on Water Street and Livoli Avenue is complete.  Temporary paving of the trenches on Livoli Avenue is scheduled for completion this week.  The asphalt trench paving is temporary and will be in place until next spring.  Please notify the DPW if there are any issues with the paving and they will make arrangements to have the Contract address them.

 

 

If you are interested in having your water service replaced (from the curbstop to your house), please contact the Town.  Home Owners are responsible for all costs associated with their water service from the curbstop to their house.  The Contractor (Bay State Piping) may be available to do the work for you, after their work for the Town is complete.
